Speaker Opportunities
Call For Presentations
ALL PRESENTATIONS MUST BE EDUCATIONAL AND NOT A SALES PITCH. NO SPECIFIC COMPANY, PRODUCT, OR SERVICE MAY BE ENDORSED IN THE PRESENTATION. Products or services expressed in the presentation must be generic and available through multiple companies or the government.
We have several different speaking opportunities.
- Virtual Seminars/Webinars
- Spring Conference
- Fall Conference
The Education Committee Chooses Content Leaders
VALA has a volunteer led Education Committee that meets at least twice annually to select content for events. Typically, the group meets in April and August. The group will review content submissions and extend invitations to potential speakers and content leaders. Session topics specific to the assisted living industry receive priority over general topics of interest. Speakers are typically booked 6 months to a year before the event.
Our Audience
We expect to have approximately 180 registrants for each of our Spring and Fall conferences. VALA's primary members are owners, administrators, and regional directors of assisted living communities from throughouy Virginia.
Consider the areas below to jump start your thinking before submitting a form. We are looking for ways to improve or innovate in these areas for the Assisted Living Industry.
