"Creating Communications for Connection and Results”
The ability to create strong relationships is critical to the success of assisted living communities. The leadership and staff have to effectively interact with residents, families, and vendors. Talking comes naturally. However, creating communications that build strong relationships is a skill that is learned and developed. This presentation explores how to communicate in a way that builds strong relationships that lead to desired results. The audience will learn the three levels of communications that lead to establishing a foundation of trust. We will explore how the “movies” we play in our brain can either positively or negatively impact relationships. These movies are a part of “confirmation of Evidence.” Lastly, we will explore how the brain functions in creating communications for connection. Creating communications is complex. However, this keynote or highly interactive breakout session simplifies the concepts into easy to understand and easy to implement strategies.
• Be able to identify the three levels of conversations and when to use them
• Distinguish when the “confirmation of evidence” is negatively impacting a conversation
• Be able to practice creating communications from the “executive” part of the brain
