Charles Mann is the Founder of Accushield, an entrepreneur, businessman, senior living technology pioneer and visionary. Charles began his Charles began his career in 2003, working in the hospital medical device industry. In 2011, Mann moved to a different healthcare vertical focused on providing upscale residential healthcare for Seniors living in community environments. Hospitals and senior living have similar healthcare needs, and these similarities brought Mann to his current role as Founder and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Accushield, LLC.  Accushield provides a front entry kiosk designed for Senior Living Communities and gives operators the ability to sign in, capture temperature, and ask CDC-recommended COVID-19 screening questions for every visitor, staff member, and third-party caregiver who enters the building.

"Is staff & visitor health screenings here to stay in senior living?" With the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the welcoming of staff and visitors has drastically changed in senior living communities. With health screenings conducted on arrival that include temperature checks and risk exposure questionnaires, we will consider what the future of these screenings may look like.
