VALA is hosting regional discussions at assisted living communities to allow assisted living advocates to interact with Virginia’s legislators and candidates to help educate them on the benefits of assisted living and on the opportunities for legislators to better support the industry. Legislators from multiple localities are being invited to participate in these discussions, including the host locality and those representing nearby communities. Legislators and candidates from all political parties are invited to participate in these non-confrontational events.

We have invited legislators from the host locality to participate in the discussions. 

These events are free to participants, but all participants must register in advance of the event by contacting Judy Hackler at jhackler@valainfo.org.
