During recent months we have learned just how valuable connections and relationships are to our individual and communal well-being. Senior living has been impacted significantly in this manner and is resulting in a shift in how we deliver programs, activities, and services. The virtual world of engagement options has increased in recent months and depicts the need to prioritize technology, resident education, and creative ways to connect. Embracing this approach enables continuation of a variety of offerings while also readying us to be proactive should levels of quarantine be required again in the future. This session will dig into how this impacts staff, residents, families, and the perception of senior living. Open discussion around wellness concepts and meeting basic resident needs will be woven throughout.
